Pyrenees Atlantic continued

In San Sebastian Spain that cheeky street performer really got Ruby! We also visited Biarritz on the Atlantique coast of France which we really loved as it had beautiful old buildings right up to the coast, We had a yummy seafood dinner in a restaurant on the beach in Biarritz and watched the sun setting over the ocean while we ate! Magnifique! We also walked the streets and had a look in surf shops and some other cool shops. We really loved the Pyrenees Atlantique as there was so many different things near it- you had mountains, coast, there is also skiing in winter and Spain is nearby too. We had some very yummy food and lots of fun. xx Curtis and RubyPosted by Picasa

Week 3 Highlights Pyrenees Atlantique

We had so much fun in our time in the Pyrenees Atlantique. We stayed in a Gite in a little village called Camblong which was about 25mins from Pau which is a city with Pyrenees mountain views. The area we stayed was more rural and had mountains, very old villages and farms. We spent time in Pau checking out some cool shops and Pau Castle which was a place Napoleon came to visit for holidays with his wife, We went on a funicular which saves your feet from walking down the steep steps and we saw some beautiful windows in the Cathedral in Pau. The Pyrenees Atlantique is also very close to Spain so we traveled to Spain to a place called San Sebastian and had yummy ice-cream and watched a very funny street performer who was scaring everyone who walked past or put coins in! Stay tuned- to be continued xx Ruby and Curtis.
